The directors of the Documentary Restrepo (if you haven’t seen it, you must) continue their amazing portrayal of combat in the Korengal valley, Afghanistan with this short clip, “The Sal Giunta Story”. The clip weaves together interviews with CPT Kearney, Sal Giunta, and footage from the documentarian’s embed.
I’m in awe of our brave men and women in the military. It’s incredible what they go through every day over there. Thank you for your service and come home safe.
Note: Language can be coarse in this clip, but I dare somebody to tell me it’s not safe for work.
